Bumping Up…Chocolate Thunder

Interviews can be a tricky topic. Not only do you have to create engaging content, but you also have to come up with questions that make for a cohesive read. And that’s all before you’re even able to find time in the interviewee’s busy schedule to ask the questions.

If it were an interview with someone you’re already aware of, then it’s more likely you will read it, right? But what about those you don’t know. You could be missing out on getting to know your next new favourite wrestler, and you wouldn’t even know it.

So, in order to spread the word on talent on the indie circuit, I got straight to the basics.

Bumping Up is here to point you in their direction and broaden your scope on new talent and promotions. If you like what you read, give them a follow & check out their next show. You never know where all this will take you.

So without further ado, let’s get down to brass tacks & introduce you to…

Name: Chocolate Thunder

Age: 34

Hometown: Leicester, United Kingdom

How many years have you been a professional wrestler? I started training nearly 4 years ago, but have actively been performing for 2 years now.

Who are your role models? (either currently or growing up) Growing up my role model was Stone Cold Steve Austin. He was the main reason I watched wrestling and his persona and ability to connect with the audience so easily always impressed me.

Was this something you always wanted to do or did you slowly transition from ‘9-5’ to where you are now. It’s definitely something I’ve always wanted to do, since I first watched wrestling as a kid. I’m not quite at the stage of quitting my ‘9-5’ yet, but who knows what the future holds…

What are your main goals for the next few years? Currently to work for more promotions and make a name for myself within British wrestling, and then the world awaits!

What’s your proudest achievement in your career so far? Got to be winning the FTGU Wrestling tag team titles with my tag partner William Wylde. To have been wrestling for such a small amount of time and be given an opportunity to hold one of the promotions few titles really is a privilege and honour.

And finally where are some of the promotions fans can currently, see you in action? I regularly appear for FTGU Wrestling in Leicester and also South West Wrestling in the South West of England, hopefully Ill see some of you soon!

Massive thank you for his time. If you wish to keep up to date with what he has going on, make sure you follow him online;
