Justin C’s Thoughts: There are a couple of surprises on this card to me. The first being that Jyushin Liger does not have an actual singles match on either of these shows. I thought for sure he might have been fighting the winner of Ospreay/Takahashi from Night 1 on Nights 2. I’m sure Liger had some say on how he was booked these final two nights. Night 1 has everyone from his past and Night 2 has him fighting the Juniors of the future.

Another surprise on this is there are no singles matches for either Tomohiro Ishii or Shingo Takagi. For anyone dreaming of a one time Ishii Heavyweight Title run I think his position on these cards puts an end to that. Shingo is a bit more of a surprise to me. I think he is a future star in New Japan and not getting some kind of singles match is a bit surprising to me.

Everything else falls in line with what we expected. With Shibata likely not getting cleared, Goto makes the most sense from an opponent perspective. Moxley/Archer should be nuts.
