WWE Raw Review 9.18.17 – with Heather

We’ve got just a quick rundown of the events surrounding tonight’s exciting episode of MONDAY NIGHT RAW!!

Below I’ll go over matches and events surrounding those participants, BUT FIRST in Promo only news:

Michael Cole interview with Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman and BRAUN.  More build where Cole says Brock is the underdog and BRAUN says actions speak louder than words- he doesn’t respect Brock.  Heyman talks BRAUN up as Brock’s strongest test – Brock likes being tossed into a corner though.  He ends it with, of course, “Suplex City bitch”.

John Cena is not here tonight so it offers Roman Reigns a chance to ramble on uninterrupted.  He calls back to an old Cena promo where he ripped on The Rock for being a part timer running off to Hollywood.  Now Cena’s doing the same.  He says he’s going to get beat by another Samoan.

Enzo tries to cut a promo on Neville and is  in a beautiful moment DESTROYED BY BRAUN!  BRAUN beats him down the ramp and into the ring where he chokeslams him and gives a running power slam.  After this happens Neville comes out and gives Enzo a red arrow before mocking his dance and him on the mic.

Nia Jax defeated Alexa Bliss

Following this match Nia beats down Alexa and Sasha Banks before Bayley returns and makes the save.  She also takes down Alexa after a brief celebration.

Because of Bayley’s return she is added to the women’s title match at No Mercy – it is now a Fatal 5 Way.

Sheamus & Cesaro defeated The Club & Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose

SheaSaro cut a promo calling out how they’ve beaten nostalgia acts before and will again.  Seth & Dean take exception but then so do The Club and it turns into a brawl.

Apollo Crews defeated Curt Hawkins

Bray Wyatt defeated Dustin Rhodes

Dustin asks for this match backstage and says Bray will never forget the name … Dustin Rhodes.

After the match Finn cuts a promo saying a man created the demon so who is really more dangerous?

Neville defeated Gran Metalik

Jason Jordan defeated Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy & Elias & Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel

This match is announced at the start of the show as a 4 way match, but Miz claims  it’s unfair to have Jason Jordan in the match and it’s only because Kurt is making up for not being there for his son. Jason Jordan takes exception and comes out to confront Miz and tells Kurt to add Bo and Axel to the match.  He does.  Jordan clears Miz and Miztourage from the ring.

After the match and Jordan wins, the Miztourage beats him down and Miz gives him a skull crushing finale.  He says he’ll still be champ after No Mercy, Angle still a terrible father and Jason Jordan still a bastard.
