WWE Raw Review 9.4.17 – with Heather
Well it’s Labor Day so since I labored all day at my real job, I took a break from writing the usual exciting recap of …
MONDAY NIGHT RAAAAAAW.
but I’m here anyway to give a rundown of the goings on and the matches you may have missed:
John Cena defeated Jason Jordan.
Following this match Roman and Cena sparred some more with words and it was more about respect and who respects who and Roman doesn’t respect John because he didn’t attack him.
SheaSaro defeated Heath Slater & Rhyno which is still a thing!
Apparently Sheamus has a Mighty Boosh patch on his jacket so this is great stuff.
The Miz w/Miztourage defeated Jeff Hardy w/Matt Hardy to retain his Intercontinental Championship.
Before this match Jeff and Matt were hyped for this saying they’re still around because of how innovative they are. Sure.
Gran Metalik & Cedric Alexander & …sigh… Enzo Amore defeated Drew Gulak & Noam Dar & Tony Nese.
After this match backstage Neville tells Metalik, Cedric and… sigh Enzo that they’ll be in a five way match on 205 Live to determine who his opponent will be at No Mercy.
Nia Jax & Emma defeated Alexa Bliss & Sasha Banks.
Nia & Emma got this match after Nia complained to Kurt backstage about Sasha being in the No Mercy Title Match. Kurt says it’s her rematch. Emma says last week everyone was talking about her.
Because of their win Emma and Nia are added to the women’s title match at No Mercy SO YAY EMMA!
Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose defeated Gallows & Anderson (rollup of doom alert!).
BRAUN defeated Big Show in a steel cage.
Following this match BRAUN says this is what Brock should expect. Then he “puts Big Show out to pasture” and throws Big Show through the cage. Oh BRAUN.
Also tonight Finn Balor has an in ring interview where he complains about Bray Wyatt costing him the IC Title match. Bray appears on the tron and tells a story about hunting rabbits with Abigail. He says Finn needed the demon to beat him and I think tells him to fight without it. Whatever.
I can only assume you should all watch the BRAUN match but the Cena/Jordan one was 20 minutes so that could be excellent too.
oh well, until next week!
